Mini documentary on Lee Smith and her immmersive new novel based around a cast of fictional and historic characters whose lives were tied to Highland Hospital. Both Lee's father and her son spent time being treated at Highlands for mental illness. Zelda Fitzgerald, a prominent character in the novel, died in the Highland Hospital fire in 1948.
